Experience Cornwall’s
newest attraction and finest golf course next spring
Next spring,
families will have the opportunity to combine their favourite hobbies
– golf and gardens – as the eagerly awaited Eden Project opens in
April. The Trevose golf and Country club, located on a stunning
stretch of the North Cornwall coast is only 30 minutes from the
Eden Project and offers family accommodation and the opportunity
to be coached by Gary Alliss, one of the country’s leading golf
pro’s. Prices in April start at £135 for a three-night break for
a two-bedroom Dormy flat, sleeping two people.
After an investment
of £74 million, The Eden project – a combination of a botanical
garden and a living laboratory, has been transformed into a showcase
for the plant world – making the attraction a must for all visitors
going to Cornwall.
Besides a day
out at the Eden Project, there are plenty of other activities for
the family to do at Trevose. For the dedicated golfer, Trevose
is well equipped to suit all levels of golfers. A challenging links-style
course will test the very finest of players, whilst a nine full-length
course and a nine hole short course are a little less demanding.
Horse riding,
mountain biking, sailing and windsurfing are all available close
by, whilst the budding chefs in the family can sign up for a cookery
lesson at Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and Cookery School at
Padstow.
Facilities at
Trevose include tennis courts, a swimming pool, games room and a
superb restaurant and clubhouse. Prices start at £45 per night
for a two-bedroom flat, up to £75 per night, for a three-bedroom
fairway cottage.
