fact, fans of the sport can enjoy a full day of golf at St. Omer
- taking advantage of Eurotunnel's special departure times - from
as little as £37 per person.
This
price, which is based on four people travelling together, applies
to midweek departures until 30 June and includes return Eurotunnel
crossing for car and passengers and a round of golf. This prices
increases to £42 per person between 1 July and 31 August.
The
predominantly parkland course (18 holes, 6944 yards, Par 72) at
St. Omer, although hilly, is not too strenuous. However careful
planning is needed as each hole presents several challenges. There
is also a course for beginners (9 holes, 2170 yards, Par 31).
Golfing
"day trips" are also available to Wimereux, Hardelot,
Le Touquet, Belle Dune and Arras.
