WILLOW VALLEY HAS WINTER ALL WRAPPED UP!

One of Yorkshire’s premier golfing venues, Willow Valley Golf Club, is introducing its exciting new range of winter golf packages to keep those winter blues at bay.

Willow Valley’s increased membership, which rocketed during the summer, has businesses booming for the club and its challenging three courses are busier than ever. The club, renowned for its all year round summer tees and greens, makes it the perfect winter golfing experience.

The first winter package, “Package W” is available Monday – Thursday. This all inclusive package consists of coffee and snacks on arrival, followed by the rigorous 18 holes South Course and a two course meal (a choice from a selection of home made dishes, including vegetarian options), all for the bargain price of £25.00 per person. The same package is offered as a weekend alternative, “Package X” is available Friday-Sunday, for all those busy nine to five workers out there, at an all inclusive price of only £30.00 per person. All of the above packages are available from Monday 30^th October 2000 to Sunday 25^th March 2001 (excluding Bank Holidays).

Other facilities offered include an all-weather driving range with both open and covered bays, a short game area complete with bunker, a floodlit short three hole practice course and two putting greens, one of which has an all weather surface.

Willow Valley is also celebrating the breaking of three records in only four weeks. The club record for completion of the South Course stood at 75 for two years, until three members consecutively improved upon the best score and shattered the record. On “Captain’s Day” a member completed the course in 73, followed by another member completing it in 74 at the “Newton Trophy” and concluding with a victorious member clocking up an impressive 69 at the “Stableford Competition”.
