LADIES FIRST IN FIFE

A unique golf holiday programme for lady golfers has been launched in Fife on courses in and around St Andrews. The Ladies First programme features eleven courses including the Eden Course at St Andrews, Drumoig Hotel and Golf Course, the Scottish National Golf Centre and one of the world’s oldest clubs, the Scotscraig Golf Club at Tayport.

The courses and the hotel and self-catering accommodation have been carefully chosen with lady golfers in mind. All courses have excellent facilities for lady players and most have ladies’ showers.

Another unique aspect of the programme is the offer to arrange friendly matches with members of the historic ladies’ clubs in St Andrews. Tuition is also available with the lady professional at the new Scottish National Golf Centre at Drumoig or with a local St Andrews professional.

For the keen shopper some of Scotland’s best craft and gift shops are to found around St Andrews and there are historic palaces, house and gardens to visit close by.
