A new "golfshare" holiday offer on the sun-kissed Costa Blanca in Spain is "putting" Birmingham-based Central Overseas Homes on the map.

For as little as a £500 down payment, golfers can book an annual week’s golfing holiday in a beautiful villa in a development set right in the middle of three championship courses.

Central Overseas Homes (a division of Central Homes plc), the West Midlands’ representative of highly respected Spanish property developers Gama Enterprises S.L. has taken two villas at Villa Martin, St James Hill, on the Costa Blanca and reserved them exclusively for golfers who love to feel the sun on their backs.

The prices are based on four people sharing the three bedroomed properties, buthte three storey town houses at Villa Martin sleep six, so customers can take two free guests every time they go. Two brand new golf buggies are included in the rates and are at the disposal of guests all week.

Clients have quick and easy access to the three local courses which are within a few minutes of each other and include:

Villamartin - a Putman-designed course which opened in 1972 and has been the focal point of Mediterranean golf since that time. As well as an 18 hole course over 6,130m, it also sports tennis courts and a swimming pool, together with a central plaza of shops, restaurants and bars designed to satisfy the most discerning tastes.

Campoamor - the most panoramic of the courses in the region, with expansive fairways, excellent greens and lakes calculated to deceive the errant player. This is a large and testing course with six "dog legs" to keep players on their toes.

Las Ramblers - was inaugurated in 1991 under the direction of the Villamartin management and is therefore known locally as "Villamartin II". This is a tight, demanding course with an abundance of pine trees, ravines and plateaux interconnected with a natural rolling landscape - a course with "attitude"!

And a just a short drive further, golfers can choose from courses such as Quesada, La Manga, El Plantio and Bonalba.

When not on the golf course guests can choose to lounge by the Villa Martin pool or enjoy 100 miles of beautiful coastline with their Blue Flag accredited beaches.

The Costa Blanca region is just two hours' flight from UK airports, followed by a short 20 minute coastal drive to "Golfing Paradise".

Prices per person for a "golfshare" week are based on a five year period, with the opportunity to renew after five years. Rates are according to the week selected in one of three "seasons" across the year.

Plus, as Central Overseas Homes customers, holders of "golfshare" weeks will be entitled to a refund of 50 per cent of the "golfshare" cost if they decide to buy their own Spanish home from the company.
