TAKE
THE CAT FOR A BIRDIE IN HARDELOT
Hoverspeed
passengers on its Seacat service from Folkestone to Boulogne can
enjoy special discounted rates for a round of golf at one of the
Nord-pas-de-Calais region's most popular courses, Les Golfs d'Hardelot.
From
November 15 1999 to March 15 2000, Hoverspeed passengers can enjoy
a round of golf on the 18-hole Pines and Dunes courses for just
100FF (£10). For a further 100FF passengers can also enjoy
a three-course meal, together with a glass of wine or beer. Both
offers are available on presentation of a Hoverspeed ticket.
Popular
with cross-Channel golfers from the UK, Les Golfs d'Hardelot was
established in 1911 with the Duke of Argyll as its president. Today,
the club boasts two courses, the Pines, a parkland course with a
unique par of 72, and the newer Dunes. Les Golfs d'Hardelot is twinned
with Wentworth in the UK and is a qualifying course for the PGA
Seniors Tour.
Hardelot
is just ten minutes drive from Boulogne, which is itself only 55
minutes away from Folkestone on Hoverspeed's swift Seacat service.
D ay trips start from just UKP49 for a car and up to nine passengers.
Passengers
are advised to book the golf in advance by contacting Les Golfs
d'Hardelot direct on 00 33 321 83 73 10.
