Built in 1986 Esmeralda Playa undergoes annual renovations in order to maintain it in the highest and most up-to-date condition. Situated just 200 metres from the beach in a peaceful area adjacent to the Puerto Colon Yacht Club, guests can find a variety of golf clubs between two and twenty kilometres away.

The 303 rooms of the Esmeralda Playa - singles, doubles and junior suites - are all air conditioned with full bathroom, telephone, minibar, music, television, safe and terrace overlooking the sea.

Public areas include card and games rooms, a salon bar, poolside bar, restaurant and midday barbecue and buffet.
