In its
magnificent setting on a plateau shaded by ancient olive trees,
Flamingo Golf Course offers the amazing sight of a garden
suspended between lakes and sea.
From its
cliffs furrowed by ladies, the course runs

down hills
and through valleys with pools under the ever blue Mediterranean
sky.
The course
is intended to be a technical one, Power must be combined
with skills to handle its many pitfalls. Overlooking the sea,
the fairways straddle ravines, follow the slope of hills,
with greens running gently above pools. Apart from the length
of the holes, the player must deal with the wind water hazards,
which are wide and skillfully located. However, five starting
points per hole allow all golfers to complete the course which
is suited to their level of play.
