Located
almost exactly halfway between Austin and Houston, lies another
one of the gems of Texas Golf. The Falls was built in 1984
when Dave Marr and Jay Riviere teamed up to build a course
among the rolling hills of New Ulm.
The Falls
was rated the #1 course in the Houston area by Houston Sports
news in 1999 and consistently makes Gulf Coast Golfers' top
10 lists.
The course
follows a series of cascading lakes separated by the waterfalls
which give the course its name. In late 1993 the course was
acquired by the Texas Falls Corporation, which spent more
than $2million to revitalise it. When all is said and done,
Texas Falls ia another of the "must play" Texas
courses.
