have created a 7022 yard championship layout which features
four sets of tees on each hole, native landscaping and spectacular
views of San Antonio's rolling hills. Lucas Creek meanders
gracefully through the course linking a series of magnificent
water ponds. The clubhouse, a 15,000 square feet facility
with adjoining pavilion has just opened and will easily accommodate
large outings.
The Golf
Club of Texas is just the beginning of "The Golf Trail
of Texas", a project spearheaded by Buddy Cook and Gil
Hodge. Their plan is to build and manage a trail of golf courses
across the state to honour Texas history and culture and provide
Texans and visitors with an enjoyable golf experience.
